The Pantera is another car that I always wanted to own. I bought this car in early 2005 and put 1,800 miles on it during the summer of 2005 as I used it as my transportation to get parts, etc. locally. I have the car partially disassembled right now; it was nice, but I’m gonna make it nicer (it has Campagnollo’s on it now; I didn’t like the “trailer wheels you see in the pictures).
It’s a very early L car built in October, 1972 that’s basically original, including number matching 351 Cleveland and dual pod dash (usually only in pre-L cars). Non-original items include Edelbrock intake, Holley carbuerator, De tomaso air cleaner & valve covers, engine color, engine cooling system upgrade, Pantera stripe and wheels.
I plan to install pre-L bumpers, black out the stainless and deep six the Pantera stripe/banner as I restore it; I can’t wait to get my parts transportation back.
